Tenant FAQs
Answers to your common questions
Can you hold a place before I apply?
Generally, you must see the inside of a property before applying to rent a particular home. You may pay the deposit to hold the property, once you are approved, however you will usually need to occupy the property within two weeks.
How do I pay rent?
You can epay through your tenant portal, mail the payment to our office (must be postmarked by the 5th), or drop your payment off at our office in person. There is an after-hours secure drop slot.
I want to get a pet. What do I do?
Fill out a pet application and submit to our office for approval.
I want to move out, but my roommate wants to stay. What do I do?
You must submit something in writing to our office to have your name removed. You will remain responsible for your lease until any change is made in writing.
Is the deposit refundable?
Yes, however you will be required to return the property in the same or better condition that you received it in, less normal wear and tear.
My lease expiration is coming and I want to move out. What do I do?
You will need to submit a written 30-day notice to our office or submit the notice through your portal.
You have a property I want to rent. How do I apply?
Please drive by the property you are interested in and then call our office to make an appointment. After you have seen the inside of the home, you can submit an application to our office.
Is there a pet deposit?
We do not charge a pet deposit. Instead, we charge pet rent of $40/month for the first pet, and $20/month for each additional pet, subject to landlord approval.
